Mark & Tamaryn’s Collisheen Wedding

This fun-loving couple from Jo’burg got married at Ballito’s gorgeous Collisheen Estate Wedding Venue on a perfect North Coast spring day. They decided to say their “I do’s” in this beach town so that they could enjoy a week at the coast with friends and family as they prepared for the big day. As usual the Collisheen boma was beautifully decorated with fairy lights and flowers by the talented Lou Todd from KZN Flower Girls. Inside the bridal Salon the girls were sipping champagne while being glammed up by the amazing Claire Calvert from The Glam Squad. Tam and Mark chose a spectacular cheese cake from Cremalat as their wedding cake! Layers of cheese varieties decorated with all sorts of yummies! Even if you didn’t like cheese, you would have been tempted to have some!

One thing that was so evident at their wedding was how much they love their friends and family. Mark and Tam are both social, relaxed and fun people who just seem to enjoy life! It’s infectious. I can’t remember when last I laughed so much while photographing a wedding! Speeches were hilarious and heart felt and just filled with emotion. So many stories of the groom and bride were shared that kept their guests thoroughly entertained. It was a festive occasion with many tears of laughter and tears of sadness too. They went to so much trouble to plan a wedding for all to enjoy and when you page through this blog and see the smiles on everyone’s faces you will know what I mean.

When it was time to open that dance floor, Mark and Tam showed off lifts that blew everyone away! The festivities continued on a crowded dance floor and when I packed my bags to go home, the party was faaaar from over! Rumour has it the bride did a knee slide? This was a wedding full of celebration, fun, laughter, love and happiness! Mark & Tamaryn it was an absolute joy to photograph your special day and get to know you.
