The Prettiest Picnic

I love themed shoots. Bridge and I had been chatting through some ideas for the shoot for a while and when it was time to do the shoot, mother nature didn’t play along. But second time round we were blessed with the most glorious, golden morning light. Getting up early was so worth it! When photographers talk about the golden hour this is what we mean! When photographers suggest a time for the shoot and they say 5am, this is what you get! The sun wasn’t up yet when we set up the picnic, but once the first rays appeared on the horizon, we had to work quickly do make the most of the golden light. We chose a beautiful farm location near Dalton for this vintage picnic shoot. The girls sipped their tea & ate biscuits in a field of dew-covered grass as day broke. A first for them for sure!
